Club Inducts Officers The Mount Joy Welcome Wagon Club held its installa- tion banquet on Wednesday, June 17, at the Mount Joy American Legion. Ann Hetrick, =~ hostess, in- stalled Mrs. Sue Crawford, of Oak Alley, Mount Joy, as president, Other officers installed were Marsha Peters, first vice-presi- dent; Joan Cartright, second vice-president; Jane Drenner, recording secretary; Fritz Mec- Clurg, treasurer, and Nancy Smith, historian. The newly installed presi- dent was presented a vase of red roses and the gavel from past president Charlotte Wil- ey. A Welcome Wagon Club pin was presented to Char- lote Wiley as a token of ap- preciation for her work and rose in recognition of their work during the term of her office. Retiring officers were: Charlotte Wiley, president; 1st vice president, Barb Geotch- ious; second vice president; Jean Lucabough: recording secretary, Jane Kennedy; treasurer, Sue Crawford, and Elaine Bowersox, historian. During the past year, the club has been very busy wor- king on various projects, in order to raise money for the Mount Joy Library and the Playground Assoc.
