Attends College Press Meeting Miss Marianne Waters co- editor. n-chief of Lock Ha- ven State College's daily newspaper, ‘Eagle Eye,” re- cently attended the 43rd an- nual Associated Coliegiate Press Conference in Miami, Fla. The three.day confer- ence was attended by nearly 1,000 college newspaper and yearbook editors from all over the country. A 1967 honor graduate of Donegal high school and pres. ently a junior Liberal Arts English major at LHS, Miss Waters has been “Eagle Eye” co-editor since March. This college publication has the distinction of being the only newspaper of the 14 state colleges to be issued every day. Miss Waters is the daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Wa- ters who reside at 721 West Main street in Mount Joy. Walls and Roof Progressing A new outside storage building on the grounds of Donegal high school is tak. ing shape these days. Located east of the build- ing near the entrance to the shop rooms of the school at the south end of the tennis courts, the new building is of concrete block construction. It will be without heat and is used for storage, particul- arly of mowers, football equipment and other rough gear which has seasonal use. Blocks and roof already are installed. The new building will re- place the old, unsightly stor- age shed in the same area. The frame building formerly was a school bus shelter.
