To Move Prom F rom School Permission to break with tradition was given juniors and seniors of Donegal high school Thursday night, Nov. 21, by the school board at its November meeting, held in the D.H.S. library. The board voted permission to hold the 1969 Donegal Junior - Senior Prom away from the school. In the past, this chief so- cial event of the high school year has been held in the gymnasium. There have been previous attempts to take the dance away from the school but the idea had always been rejected. Tentatively, the prom is Women Arrange Christmas Tea The women of Zion Luther- an church, Landisville, will hold their annual Christmas Tea Sunday, Dec. 8 at 3 p.m. in the church social room. A special program is plan- ned. Mrs. Charles B. Brooks, Willow Street, a member of Grace Lutheran church, Lan- caster, will narrate the story of Christ from the Old Testa- ment until His death.. As she tells the story, a tree will be trimmed with “Chrismons”’, decorations in gold & white representing church symbols.
