And that is the final score. Friday night at Ephrata, the Tribe was out downed, out passed and out rushed but won the game 34 to 19. However, victory without the statistics happens and a couple of Donegal’s only three defeats in nine starts this season, were lost just that way. The point is that the In- dians made good use of their yardage and converted their “breaks” with alertness to lock up the game with a touchdown in the first, one in the second and then throw a- way the key in the third with two more. At that point, the Tribe led, 27 - 0, and the enthus. iasm of the Donegal fans ran hot despite the cold weather. In the fourth, Donegal counted one more while the Mountaineers pushed over three. As things stand this week, the Tribe is set for the seas- on’s finale Saturday afternoon on the home field. Hempfield is the foe and the prize is apparent third spot in the county grid loop. Both the Indians and the Black Knights have 6 - 3 rec- ords. The winner will go to 7 - 3 and that looks good for a third spot behind Township and Columbia for the season. The Knights were without a game last weekend. Under the lights Friday night, Donegal found that Ephrata was looking too hard at the wrong man. Apparent- ly, the Mountaineers were concentrating their pass de- fense on the wrong receiver, for Sutter connected six times ; New Arrivals .
