THE BULLETIN, MOUNT JOY, PA, PAGE SIX THE CHURCH FOR ALL ALL FOR THE CHURCH The Church is the great-. est factor on earth for the building of character and good citizenship. It is a storehouse of spiritual values. Without a strong Church, neither democ- racy nor civilization can survive. There are four sound reasons why every person should attend ser= vices regularly and sup- port the Church. They are; (1) For his own sake. , (2) For his children’s sake. (3) For the sake of his community and na- tion. (4) For the sake of the Church itself, which needs his moral and ma- terial support. Plan to go to church regularly and read your Bible daily, She's a lucky little girl, Though she’s only five years old, she knows how to pray. It is perfectly natural for her to kneel by her mother’s side at bedtime and “talk to God.” She has a head start over children who have never experi- _ enced this kind of communion. For there are many youngsters throughout our land who have never learned to pray, simply be- cause no one has ever taught them. For that matter, she’s ahead of a good many grown-ups, too! No one, of course, is ever too old to learn how to pray. But those who learn young are fortunate, for constant prayer builds a faith that will sustain them all their lives. Give your child the gift of prayer by taking him to church, by enrolling him in - ehureh: sehool, and by listening to his prayers at home, each and every night.
