the sick list last week. She
is a patient in St. Joseph's
hospital.
Mrs. Edna Miller remains
a patient in the Osteopathic
hospital.
Guy (Sonny) Hoffman is
convalescing at his home
near Bainbridge. He recently
underwent surgery at the
hospital.
Andrew Hinton, a former
resident of Maytown, passed
away last week. He resided
in Biggs, Calif. He was the
son of the late Catherine and
George Hinton.

at the church Sunday, Dec.
18, at 7 p.m.
Mr. and Mrs. William Hol-
lenbaugh, Ephrata, visited
Mrs. Anna Hollenbaugh last
Sunday.

Sunday evening, Dec. 18 at 7

plained clearly to the truck
driver who was bringing his
trailer how to find Maytown.
On Nov. 11, the truck driver
called from York and said
that after he receives his per-
mit he will be on his way to
Maytown. Instead of May-
town, Lanc. Ce., he was
headed for Maytown, York
Co. Larry had to hurry to
York Co. to meet him and
get him headed in the right
direction. Since this episode
we have learned that many
trucks coming from Mary-
land are directed to the
wrong Maytown. It is on the
map but has no P. O. It con-
sists of a church and several
houses.
Leisure Club
Yule Party
The Mount Joy Leisure
Club Christmas party will
be held Tuesday, Dec. 13 at
6 p.m. in the Mount Joy Res-
taurant on West Main street.
Mrs. George Groff and her
committee have over sixty-
six members signed up to
attend. The deadline is Dec.
7th (today).
An exchange of gifts will
be provided with a Christmas
program and carol singing.
Special guests, Gerald
Lutz, Robert Mackiosn, Roy
Bair and their wives will be
present. These three Jaycees
were responsible for helping
to organize the club about a
year ago.
Members who attend the
Christmas party are asked to
bring a 50c gift for the ex-
change of gifts with others.
