connection with the Ware
Mansion recently donated to
Presbyterian Homes of Cen-
tral Penna.
In the evening two mem-
bers of Explorer Post 99,
sponsored by Highland Pres-
byterian church, paid their
monthly visit, accompanied
by an advisor, and showed
slides of beautiful birds, lo-
cated in Busch Gardens at
Tampa, Fla., also principal
interests of Toronto ,Can.

Pa. visited her aunt, Miss
Mary Gregg.
Miss Belle Sterns and Mrs.
A. L. Russell, of Camp Hill

program in the chapel, elev-
en of us were able to accept
the invitation.

caster, called on Miss Dere-
mer, and Mrs. Gladys J. M.
Kelvy, also of Lancaster on
Mrs. Hayles, Mr. and Mrs.

Mother's Day was a busy
day, Mrs. Echternach’s son,
W. M. Echternach Jr. and
wife, Camp Hill, paid her a
visit. Miss Alice Kline, Lan-
caster, took Miss Deremer,
our oldest resident, out for
dinner and Highland Pres.
church from two pre-school
departments brought a blue
ageratum plant for each one
of us, also a beautiful floral
arrangement of rose buds &
daisies was received from the
Christian Homes Committee
of Wilson college.
But the highlight of the
day for Mrs. Ruch, acting
supervisor during her cousin,
Miss Speer’s hospitalization,
was having a visit from sev-
en of her relatives, son, wife
and daughter, from Flicks-
ville, also grandson and wife
and two great-grandsons from
Nazareth, who showed pic-
tures and played tape record-
ings of a granddaughter, Jan-
ice who is a medical mission-
ary in Liberia, Africa.
CONTENTMENT ila
True contentment depends
not upon what we have. A
tub was large enough for Di-
ogenes, but a world was too
little for Alexander.
