Engle, Secretary 49-3c Teacher, Pupils Visit F&M Class On Thursday evening, Mar. 3, Paul Coleman, science teacher at the Donegal high school annex, accompanied by two eighth grade boys, Wil- liam Hockenberry and Mich- ael Maurer attended a mete- orological class at Franklin & Marshall college. Coleman spoke briefly to the group of teachers about his program for teaching a unit on the weather. The two boys then present- ed the group with their charts containing weather in- formation and their daily forecasts. Later the boys pre- sented graphs which they had made from the information contained on the charts, chiefly for wind direction | and speed. Charles, 18 Pine street, were held Saturday morning, Mar. 5 at 10:30 a.m. from. ihe Heilig funeral home. Burial was made in the Mount Joy cemetery. She had been ill for sev- eral months and death came Tuesday evening, Mar 1, at 10:30 p.m. at the St. Joseph's hospital. She was 44. Born in McClure, Pa., a daughter of Mrs. Cora Mae Knepp Wagner, Mount Joy, and the late Isaac C. Wagner, she was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, the Auxili- ary and Ambulance Commit- tee of the Friendship Fire Co., all of Mount Joy. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two child- ren, William E. Charles ETR- SN, serving with the United States Navy aboard the USS Amphion; and Judy A. at home; her mother; and four brothers, Roy C. and John D. Wagner, both of Mount Joy; Banks W. Wagner, Marietta; and Jack W. Wagner, Lititz. MARTHA M. WOLGEMUTH Mrs. Martha M. Wolge- muth, 98, widow of Hiram E. Wolgemuth, Mount Joy RI, died at 7:50 a. m. Sunday, March 6, at the Maple Farm Nursing Home, Akron, where she was a guest for 9 days. Mrs. Wolgemuth, whose husband died in 1946, had 124 direct descendants. A native of East Donegal Twp., she was a daughter of the late Michael B. and Cath- erine Musser Musser, and a member of the Crossroads Brethren in Christ church. Prior to entering the Ak- ron home, she resided for 21 years with a son and daugh- ter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Irv- in M. Wolgemuth, Mount Joy Rl. Surviving are these sons and daughters: Michael M,, Joseph M., Abner M, and J. Musser Wolgemuth, all of Mount Joy Rl; Daniel M. and Eli M. Wolgemuth, both of Mount Joy; Irvin M. Wolge- muth, with whom she resided Hiram M. Wolgemuth and Martha C., wife of Clarence E. Lyons, both of Lancaster; and Mary E., wife of Jacob Z. Martin, Elizabethtown R1. Also surviving are 38 grandchildren, 75 great- grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 9, from the Cross Roads Brethren Ia Christ church and burial was made in the adjoining ceme- tery.
