in Christ Church. Nancy
graduated in June from the
Hamilton, Ontario, General
ospital school of nursing. Af-
ler 2a wedding trip, the coup-
le will live in Chicago, where
Mr. Payson is in his last year
in chiropractic school.

Firemen Answer
Two Alarms
Friendship Fire company
answered a call Tuesday mor-
ning for assistance at Mariet-
ta when the home of Eli
Frick, West Front street, was
discovered in flames,
Flames broke out on the
second floor of the home.
There was considerable
smoke and water damage
but residents in the other
half of the house suffered on-
ly minimal damage.
The Fricks, a family of 11,
have been obliged to live
with relatives until new quar-
ters can be located.
Firemen from Marietta,

Maytown, Silver Spring and
Rheems also responded to the
alarm.
Fire of undertermined or-|
igin damaged the home of
Ar. and Mrs. Edward Gelt-
macher, 211 West Main St.,
Monday morning, Nov. 29,
shortly after 8 o'clock.
The blaze was in the kitch-
en but apparently unrelated
to cooking.
