To Atlantic City
With Hershey
Donald and Ronald Alle-
man, sons of Mrs. Fern Alle-

Miss America pageant at At-
lantic City this week when
they marched as members of
the Milton Hershey School
Drill Team and Varsity Band
which participated in the
'gala boardwalk parade,
which began the week-long
festivities on Tuesday, Sept.
8th.

Drill Team and the 85 boys
in the Varsity Band traveled
by school transportation,
leaving Hershey Tuesday
morning, spending the day in
Atlantic City, and returning
after the parade.
NAVY ROTC
Applications are now av-
ailable for the Navy's 19th
NROTC qualification test, ac-
cording to John D. Day 3rd,
counselor at Donegal High
School. The nationwide ex-
amination will be given Dec-
ember 12, and all eligible
male high school seniors and
graduates may apply.
On the basis of this test,
personal interviews, physical
examinations, and other fac-
tors, Day explained, more
than 2,000 young men will
be given college educations
as midshipmen in NROTC

juniors. This is their second
year as members of the Drill leges & universities through-
units in 52 well-known col-

INJURED
Arthur W. Brubaker, Park
avenue, is a patient in the
Lancaster General hospital
with head and hip injuries
suffered in an auto accident
Friday, Sept. 4 at Lock Hav-
en.
Mr. and Mrs. Brubaker and
two nieces were enroute to
their camp in Cameron coun-
ty when their car hit a utiity
pole. The only one injured
other than bruises, Brubaker
was taken to the Lock Haven
hospital and a week later re-
moved to Lancaster.
In 4-H Club work, a com-
prehensive system of awards
