1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 egg, hard-cooked
Wash Romaine and Boston
lettuce; tear into bite-size
pieces. Combine with arti-
choke hearts, pimiento, and
water chestnuts. In a jar,
combine salad oil, vinegar,
marjoram, basil, tarragon,
salt, pepper and lemon juice.
| Shake to mix. Sieve egg into
| dressing, stir and pour over

salad. Serve with crackers
Makes 6 to 8 servings.

WATERMELON
FRUIT SALAD
Cut medium size water-
melon in half. Using melon
ball cutter, scoop out melon
balls; then scoop out remain-
ing fruit leaving 11-inch edge
for decoration. Combine sel-
ection of fresh fruits such as
peaches, strawberries, banan-
as, Thompson and Tokay
grapes and melon balls. Line
sides of melon with lettuce
leaves. Pour in fruit salad
mixture. Serve with Creamy
Fruit Dressing. Makes 10 to
12 servings.
CREAMY FRUIT DRESSING
1 8-0z. pack age softened
cream cheese
15 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoon salt
4s teaspoon almond extract
Mix above ingredients
well. Makes about 1 cup.
Serve with fruit salads.
