us from Alan W. Farrant.
“With the help of the Unit-
ed States Post Office,” he

writes, “You can have fun
collecting mail from unusual
towns—places with names |
your friends won't know.
“If you are interested in
sports, mail will be fun to
get from Ball Club, Arkans-
as; Bruin, Kentucky; or from
eleven of the towns named
Derby, none of which is in
Kentucky.
“Actually, is is not the
mail itself you want, but the
town’s cancellation mark on
the envelope. You can save
envelope, but most hobbyists
cut out the cancellations and
stick them in a snapshot al-
bum.
“Getting these cancelled
2nvelopes is not as difficull
as you might think. The eas-
