The home of Mrs. Emma
Shenck, located at 143 South
Charlotte St., Manheim was
solid at public auction Satur-
day afternoon for $10,800.
The property was sold to
the Manheifn VFW Post 5956
Mrs. Shenck now resides at
the Danner Home, 44 West
Ferdinand Street. y

Eugene Hosler, 17, of Man-
heim R3, won a $50 savings
bond as first prize in the
Lancaster Kiwanis Club’s 4-
H Club conservation essay
contest.
Treasurer of the Red Rose
4H Baby Beef and Lamb
Club, Hosler showed a re-
serve grand champion steer-
of-show in November at the
Penna. Livestock Exposition.
