My opinion is, that a cur- few is only necessary delinquency during stated hours of the day, and made for the exception, rather than the rule. We of Mount Joy can cer- tainly be proud of our young people, for they are the best behaved of most any com- munity in the perhaps we may even en- compass a larger area, and therefore a curfew is not necessary. During the meeting, atten- tion was focused on the fact] of our sur-| that so many rounding communities have a curfew, SO NHY DON'T WE??? another reason might be—is the ordinance commit- tee trying to impress us with their importance and make us believe that it is a busy little beaver, regardless of what the ordinance might be| or who it will effect. Then maybe they are trying to set a goal as having been the top ordinance copiers on rec- ord. I use the word “copiers”, as it seems to follow a dis- tinct pattern, that when a new ordinance in a surround- ing community is passed and published. you can bet a new felt hat against a hole in a doughnut, our committee will have a copy of it for presen- tation to the council at the following meeting.
