Gives Assist Small Barn Burns; Firemen had a two-fire day on Tuesday when they responded to a call for an assist at a barn fire and to extinguish a blaze in a car. An alarm at 10:55 took Friendship company to the residence of Myrl Jeffries, on Manheim R4, to assist Mas- tersonville company. Man- heim also responded. A small barn, approximate- ly 40x40, was lost along with a 1950 car and some farm machinery. The company was in service for about 32 hours. At 4:45 p.m. firemen were called to the Fargo service station on west Main street, where an auto was afire.
