others.
Any changes existing in
the routes and schedules,
will be announced to both
students and bus drivers as

Air Force, grandson of Mr.
and Mrs. William Hendrix,
is presently enjoying a leave
from Chanute AFB, Illinois
where he is studying guided
missiles. Yohn, a graduate of
Elizabethtown Area High
School and sports enthusiast
recently placed first in the
javelin throw and the shot
put at the base’s annual
track meet. His shot put toss
set a new record for the
base. Yohn also has the hon-|

dicating superior leadership
and integrity shown by him.

day evening, Aug. 8. A lot
of interest was shown in the
Father & Son softball game.
Approximately 12 fathers
participated
After the softball game,
the awards were given. The
boys and girls accumulating
points, in their
group, during the 6-
week playground season re
ceived trophies. The runner-
ups received loving cups.
The winners were—Begin-
ner girls, Sallie Rehm, and
Georganne Fitzkee., Beginner
boys, Caleb Hess, and James
own age
Farmer. Intermediate girls,
Kathy Hean and Dee Ann
Johnson. Intermediate boys,
Don Musser and Walter Rolf.
Senior girls, Nancy Rolf and
Debbie Brubaker. Senior
boys, Keith Brightbill and
Duayne Caswell.
Six boys and girls received
felt badges from the arts &
crafts department. These
badges were given to the
boys and girls who had the
nicest display of their arts &
crafts, at the Awards night
program. The winners were,
Beginners, Sallie Rehm and
Georganne Fitzkee. Interme-
diates, Kathy Hean & Scott
Madara. Seniors, Susan Flick
and Nancy Rolfs.
