Chamber of
Plans Semi-Annual Meet
The semi-annual meeting
and dinner of the Mount Joy
Chamber of Commerce will
be held Tuesday, Oct. 16, it
was announced this week by
Ollie K. Snyder, Chamber
president.
To be held at Hostetters,
beginning at 6:30 o’clock,
the meeting will feature the
appearance of Capt. Robert
B. Heilig as the principal
speaker.
After an outstanding car-
eer with the U. S. Navy,
Captain Heilig now is retir-
ed. Basing his talk on some
of his unusual contacts as a
high officer with the Navy,
he will speak on “What In
dustry Looks For When It
Desires To Locate in a Com-
munity.”
Dinner tickets are now a-

Public Utility Commission to substantially in-
crease the number of kilowatt-hours available
at the special 1¢ rate for most sizes of Flame-
less electric water heaters. The new rate,
proposed to become effective November 1,
