Getz will be featured in the
American ballad, “Ol’ Man|
River”. Russell Getz is head
of the music department at
Hempfield high school. The
Reamstown Community choir
is directed by his father, Wil-
liam M. Getz, Denver, who
also directs several church
choirs in the county.
The four-part program will
feature patriotic, spiritual,
sacred and secular vocal mu-
sic. One of the feature num-|
bers on the program, “God |
is Great’, was written at the
Ephrata Cloisters over 200
years ago by Conrad Beissel
