Mrs. Mable Detwiler Rohr
er, 75, widow of Dr. Christ
ian G. Rohrer, 13 W. Main
St., Mount Joy, died at Lan
caster General Hospital Sun-
day. She was admitted to
the hospital on Saturday
Born in Mount Joy, she
was a daughter of the late
Bigler and Anna Hoffman
Detwiler. She lived in New
York City for 40 years be
fore returning to her home
in Mount Joy ten years ago
Funeral services were held
from the James B. Heilig Fu
neral Home Wednesday af
ternoon with interment in
the Mount Joy Cemetery
JOHN HOLLINGER
John Henry S. Hollinger,
fifty-eight, husband of Edna
Anterline Hollinger, Mt. Joy
R2, died at his home Monday
at 10 a.m.
Born in Lancaster County,
he was the son of the late
Monroe and Sara Stauffer
Hollinger.
Hollinger was a member of
the West Green Tree Church
of the Brethren, Mount Joy
Township. He worked for 30
years at the Lancaster Shoe
Company.
In addition to his wife, he
is survived by four sons and
a daughter. J. Ear! Hollinger
both of Mt. Joy R2; Anna
Ruth, Harold E., and James
E.. at home and five grand-
children.
Two brothers and two sis-
ters also survive: Abner S.
Hollinger, Elizabethtown R3;
Benjamin S.. Manheim R4;
Mrs. Maria Kreider. Man-
heim, and Mrs. Paul E. Web-
er, Manheim R3.
Funeral services were held
from the Miller Funeral
Home Thursday afternoon
with further services in the
West Green Tree
the Brethen. Interment
adjoining cemetery.

HAROLD E. WARFEL
Harold E. Warfel, 51, Lan-
caster R5, formerly of Mount
Joy, died unexpectedly Tues-
day at 2:53 a.m. at the Lan-
caster General Hospital, of a
heart attack, suffered Friday.
He was born in Conestoga
Twp., a son of Mrs. Clara J
Gainer Warfel and the late
Emory F. Warfel. He resided
in Manheim Twp. the past 14
years.
He was employed by Bear-
ings Company of America
Division, Federal - Mogul -
Bower Bearings, Inc., for the
past 28 years.
Surviving are his wife, Ce-
celia Mae Murr Warfel, the
following sons and daughters
Harold E, Jr., Emory F,
Lancaster; G. Raymond, Joan
and Judy, all at home; and
the following brothers and
sisters: Emory W., Downey,
Calif.; H. Clayton, Lancaster:
Bertha, wife of William Col-
lins, Bird-in-Hand R1, and
Bessie, wife of Fred Grum-
brecht, Laricaster; and Char-
les F., Atlanta, Ga., and one
grandson.
Relatives and friends are
respectively invited to attend
the funeral at the Charles L
Snyder Funeral Home, 414
East King Street, Lancaster,
Friday afternoon at 2:00. In-
terment in the Millersville
Mennonite Cemetery.
