Christie Thriller
At Mt. Gretna
tha Christie’s mystery thril-
ler, will open at Mt. Gretna
Playhouse Thursday for a
week's run and is co-produc-
ed by Gene P. Otto and Chas.
I. Coghlan.
Since the Mt. Gretna sum-
mer theatre opened in 1945
Otto has worked on many of
the productions and has tak-
en several roles. He has been
associated with show busi-
ness in a variety of capacities
for the greater part of his
life. He has been connected
with many Broadway pro-
ductions and famous road
companies touring w e 11
known plays. He also has
worked with fairs, carnivals
and circuses. While serving
in the Navy during World
War I he found time {to de-
vote to putting on shows.
During his career he intro-
duced many famous bands
and other entertainments to
vthe Harrisburg area. “ Ten
Little Indians” marks
189th Gretna production.
The Agatha Christie mys-
tery was a best-selling novel,
his
a ‘long-run Broadway play
and an outstanding film.
Jackson Young and new-
comer Pat Fowler will take
leading roles in the mystery
play. Among the others of
the cast who find themselves
marooned on an
unknown
island with
an murderer are
Gene Galvin, Frank Ham-
merton, Ben Laughlin, Jim
Bernard, Barbara Angle, Lo-
uis Marini, Ann Walters and
George Curley.
The play will be directed
by Charles F. Coglan.
