Groff wus el- ected president of the Mount Joy © Old Timers Association for the eighth year at a re- cent: meeting. Ellis Fellen- haum was elected vice pres- ident; Charles Hershey sec- retary; Richard Divit, assist- ant secretary and Joseph T. M. Breneman, treasurer. During the business meet- ing, the announcement was made, that the association- sponsored Midget baseball team has been entered in the Lanco League and will be entered in the New Era Tournament. The annual Old Timers’ baseball game will be held in August. The regular Gym Club will function as last year during the winter months. Tentative plang were also discussed to organize a league of volley ball and basketball for the adults of the community. Tentative plans may also call for a gym program for high school students in the fall pending the call at Donegal High School for training in soccer and basketball. The annual basketball game with the Old Timers plus a game between the Mt. Joy High School team of '51 and the Donegal High School team of 1955 will again be planned during the holidays.
