Mrs. William Mayer is con
fined to the house because of
illness.
Mrs. Michael Gratch was re-
moved to St. Joseph's Hospital
on Saturday afternoon. She un
derwent an appendectomy.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hollen-
baugh, Hummelstown, visited
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hollen-
baugh on Sunday.
Dr. Robert Mickey from F. &
M. Seminary, Lancaster, preach
ed in the Maytown Evangelical
and Reformed Church on Sun-
day morning due to the ab-
sence of Dr. V. W. Dippell who
is ill.
Mrs. Isabelle Endslow, Ard-
more, Pa. visited Mr. and Mrs
H. B. Endslow on Sunday
Mrs. Martin Musser is recup-
erating at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. George Welsh
at Landisville.
Beginning April 13th, the
Maytown Office of the Union
National Bank will be opened
for business on Friday evenings
from 5 to 8 p. m. and closed
each Saturday morning.
Mr. William Wrighstone, who
was injured in an automobile
accident and removed to Saint
Joseph's Hospital 1s much im-
proved. He expects to return to
his home soon
The Boy Scout Troop No. 53
and their Scout Master appre-
ciate the donations given them
for the food sale on Saturday.
The money realized {rom the
sale was $89.00 which will be
uscd to help pay their expenses
when they go camping in July
