Florin Lions Hear
Talk On Shick
Dr. Hugh J. Coleman, veter-
| inarian, was admitted to the
Florin Lions Club last week at
the club’s regular meeting at
| the Clearview Diner. Cecil Ar-
| rowsmith, Lancaster, a repre-
sentative of the Shick Company
gave a brief history of his com-|
pany which included the mov-|
ing of the company to Lancast-|
er. He expressed appreciation
for the reception given the|
company by the people of Lan-|
caster County, |
Arthur K. Greiner, deputy
district, visited the club and
told about the Lions flood re-
lief project. The club voted to
donate $50 to the project. Visi- |
tors included Paul Gerber, Eli-
Pork Chops zabethtown; Victor Koser and
Sylvester Shuman, Mt. Joy.
Sixteen members of the club
will attend the fall rally of the
Lions of Lancaster County Mon-
day night at the Ephrata Legion
home. Monroe L. Knute, imme-|
diate past president of Lions in- |
ternational, will be the guest|
| speaker. For the members of]
the club who are not able to|
attend the rally, John Hess, |
president, has arranged for
round table meeting at the din-
er with Woodrow Fitzkee i
