HATS OFF TO COUNCIL
Borough Councii members
to be commended for this
week’s action on parking meter
violations
Violators will be tagged with
pink tickets, with police
ers depositing nickles the
meters in front of the over-
parked cars. Any violator who
takes his ticket with a nickle to
the burgess within 48 hours
will avoid the usual fine. How-
ever, anyone who fails to do
so will be fined the $1.00.
Full cooperation of the pub-
lic urged. Council has taken
a progressive step. Success of
the move depends entirely up-
on motorists who metered
spaces.
