A meeting for the parents of
the pupils attending the May-
town Elementary School will be
held Monday, February 14, 1955
at 8:00 P. M. in the Elementary
Building,
All rooms will be open from
7:30 to 8 p. m. and the teachers
will be present to discuss any
school problem or activity with
the parents.
The program for the evening
will consist of a business meei-
ing in charge of the president,
Mr. Robert Young. Following
the busness meeting, Mss Edna
V. Schreiber will speak on ‘“Po-
lio”. The elementary school band
will make its first public ap-
pearance at this meeting under
| the direction of Mr. Eugene C.
Saylor, principal. Piano solos
will be played by the pupils of
Mrs. Rosene Brubaker.
The mothers of both sections
of Grade two and Miss Dohner’s
section of grade three will have
charge of the refreshments. Mrs,
| J. Edward Charles is chairman
of the refreshment committee.

Dollars to help the local polio
appeal for continued late returns,

53,930 cubic centimeters of gam-
ma globulin, the preventative
blood drug, were administered
in Lancaster county through the
county medical director's office.
This gamma globulin - valued at
