The locals lost their first
league game of the season to an
undefeated Landisville team by
the score of 11-3.
Landisville had too much hit-
ting and superior pitching for
the locals to cope with,
Terry Stark was on the hill
for Mount Joy. After a strike-
out, a base on balls, fielders
choice and a hit scored one rcn
for the opponents. Terry then
struck out the two next batters.
Mount Joy showed excellent
baseball play in the bottom of
the first inning. With one out,
Bennett singled, Wealand sing-
led and Harnish was safe on an
error which scored Bennett.
