“COMPLETELY SATISFIED
... poultry house ventilation is a paying
proposition!” says Lancaster County poul-
tryman, John Hess.
Raising prize layers and supplying high quality eggs
for hatching purposes are Mr. Hess' major interests.
When the natural ventilation of his new, many-windowed,
concrete block poultry house failed to keep the air clear
and comfortable for his 4500 layers, Mr. Hess decided to
try electric ventilation on the building's second floor.
Two 24-inch, two-speed fans, with a total capacity of
8000 cubic feet a minute, !'...made a very noticeable
change in bird health and comfort’, says Poultryman
Hess.
Mr. Hess added that he is so ‘completely satisfied”
that he is installing two electric ventilating fans on the
first floor!
Electric ventilating fans can add to your flock's health
and productivity, too. Call your local PP&L Farm Rep-
resentative. « Have him show you how proper ventilation
can improve your poultry farm operation!
ELECTRICITY IN FARMING DOESN'T COST
... IT. PAYS!
