the robins and blackbirds flitting
about and the daffodils blooming,
but I'm still waiting for that first

Rabbits showing Up This Winter
Pdward W. Campbell, a Franklin |
County game protector, says,
“Those little rabbits that weren't |
there last small game season are |
showing up pretty well in places |
on the snow.
Campbell reports: had |

was extremely high. By the end of |
january we had trapped 58 cotton-
tails out of this particular orchard.

Wild Mother Takes Over
Ralph Kline, a Game Commission

trunk we had sawed off and placed
the nest beside the stump of the |
tree. The next morning the five ba- |
bies were gone. We believe id

home.”
Rattlers Grow Tough In Pa.
Last winter, numerous snakes were
reported seen or killed on snow in|
the Keystone State. Now comes a |
