In The Service ~~ Cpl. William Baltozer the Committee a beautiful Christinis card from Paris, France. Just got Cpl. Everett L. Wil- liams’ address. He's in England with the Air Force, Dec. 12, '51, Dear Friends: I want to thank you very much for my Christmas present. I just Ft. Hood, Texas it came fyom til I read that little cord. It sure makes a fellow feel are in the service and I wanted to of us fellows on the run. We live out in the field half of the time and don’t get much time off to write. Tonight I just took time off to thank all of you for what you fine people have done for us boys in the service. All I dayin the Infantry is train all day long and some times we're at it at night, running and attack- ing hills. But that's what we do in the Infantry at all times which some day, before long, will come in handy. The way the other fel- lews talk in their letters about the Navy and how nice it is, I sure wish the Infantry had it that nice. I want to thank you all again for my Christmas gift and the Bul- letin. God bless you all. Yours, PFC. JOHN A. GRUBB B:ttery ‘C’, 647th Airborn Field Artillery Battalion ‘APO 51, 6 Dec. The Remembrance Committee Lear Committee Members: I received your most thoughtful gift of a box of Bachiman’s Choco- lates last week and certainly do appreciate not only the gift but the thought behind it. Even tho I have been away from Mount! Joy, except for occasional visits, for al- most eleven years now, I still cal! it home and cherish the many memories I have of it. As many of you know and I'm sure this was a big factor in start- ing your committee—a serviceman takes.a certain pride in knowing th=t the folks at home do not forget: him and realize just what he is doing. Your thoughtfulness builds up this morale immeasurably and morale is a particularly big item when he is far from home and a- way from his loved ones. I also appreciate the subscription to The Bulletin. I have been a con- stent subscriber to that paper since I left home and it keeps me in touch with the old home town. Thanks a million. Sincerely JAMES R. ZELLER, Captain Arty.
