Clayion Leaman, Lancaster: and
Ivan B. Leaman, Pottstown; also
three sisters: Edith M., wife of Ed-
win Keene, Quarryville; Esta L.,
{ wife of Harry G. Brackbill, Kinzer;
and Mrs. Anna M. Frey, Harris-
burg; also a number of nieces and
nephews.
Funeral services were held from
the Heilig funeral home here Sun-
day afternoon with interment in
the Cedar Lawn cemetery at Lan-
caster.

ers to plow to the extreme edge of
a field and, in some cases, right to
the edge of the macadam on the
hichways.
This last month in their regular |
spring scraping of rural roads su-
pervisors came across wheat, seed- |
ed last fall and now “quite high”, |
that was growing right up to the |
edge of the wheel tracks in
road.
In some places, during the grow-
ing season, it is almost impossible
for two automobiles to pass on a
country road without driving over |
corn, wheat, or tobacco growing

The directors of East Donegal
{ Township Schcol District being of
| the opinion that all persons resid-
{ing within the School District
| should pay a proportionate share
| of the cost of the operation of the
| Public School System within the
District, hereby give notice that the
fcllowing resolution will be pre-
sented to the School District of
| East Donegal Township at its reg-
ular monthly meeting to be held on
May 11, 1951, for adoption. It is
contemplated that this resolution
will add increased revenue to the
| amount of between $300 and $500
per year. The resoluticn is propos-
ed in accordance with the authority
| conferred to 2nd 3rd and 4th Class
School Districts by the Act of 1947,
F. L. 1145. as amended.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RE-
SOLVED. AND IT IS HEREBY
RFSOLVFED, AS FOLLOWS:
“That an annual tax for general
revenue vurnoses is hereby levied
by the School District of East Don-
egal Township, Lancaster County,
Pennsylvania, upon all trailers lo-
cated in the School District used
for dwelling purposes, whether af-
| fixed to the land or not, at the rate
| of $2.00 per month for each trailer
| used for dwelling purposes for a
| period of more than 29 days in any
| calendar year. It shall be the duty
{ of the owner or owners. lessee cr
| lessees of the land within 7 days
| after the effective date of this res-
olution and there~fter 7 days after
any trailer used for dwelling nur-
roses is placed upon the land, to
notify the Secretary of the School
Board or any person designated by
him in writing, the name cr names
of the owner or owners and ccrn-
rier or occupiers and the vehicle
all trailers used
for dwelling purpeses upon the
land of said owner or owners, les-
