of E. Main St, Florin, was arrest-
ed on drynken driving charges by
State Police after his car swerved
off the Harrisburg pike and crash-
ed into a road roller west of Florin
at 2:15 a. m. last Thursday
Oliver Ebersole, sixty-five from
F'town, a night watchman at the

John Bailey, Jr, twenty-five
formerly of this place, pleaded

intent to ravish and was sentenced
to serve 2 to 4 years in the East-
ern Penitentiary and fined $100 and

Clyde K. Coble testified Bailey at-

girl, who had stopped at the Eliza-
bethtown PRR station while en-

on Sept 11. Bailey admitted

A craft exhibit at the State Hos-
pital for cripnled children at Eliz-
abethtowny marked the close of one
of the mest extensive summer pro-
grams in the history of the insti-
tution. :
Nearly 100 children had on dis-
play more than 1,000 creations in
woodwork, pottery, leather work,
and sewing. There were wallets,
[ belts, key and comb cases, gloves
beer mugs, wedding plates bearing
