Pa Trinity Lutheran Congregation Hears Church Leader President of the Lutheran Minis- terium of Pennsylvania and Ad- jacent States, addressed the con- gregation of Trinity Lutheran Church on Sunday, in honor of the Tenth Anniversary of the pastorate of the Rev. W. Lester Koder. Dr. Fischer spoke of the plea- sure he experienced, as President of the Church, in seeing pastors at work in their parishes, many of whom he had instructed when they attended Seminary. Dr. Fischer was a Professor at the Mount Airy Theological Seminary in Philadelphia for twenty-three years before being elected to his present position. Dr. Fischer also complimented the congregation and pastor for their fine interest and support of the world church. Trinity, Mount Joy, has paid its Benevolence and Lutheran World Action quotas 100 per cent for many years. Its Women’s Mission- ary Society ranks fifth among the ary societies in the Lancaster Con- ference in its contributions, The congregation thrilled to the rendition of a solo, by Miss Dorothy Schock, who sang “The Crucifixion” by Pearl G. Curran; and the choir of Trinity Lutheran Church sang the “0 Shepherd of Israel” by Deis.
