Navy: Department has an announcement that all restrict- ions have been lifted on ratings for enlistments in its huge post-war Naval Reserve. According to Chief Frank E. Papuga, recruiter in | charge of the local Recruiting Office, men who are or who were in the Regular Navy, through enlistment or induction, or men who were in the Naval Reserve, may be enlisted lor reenlisted in Class V-6 U. S. Naval Reserve for inactive duty re- gardless of the length of time that | has elapsed since the date of dis- | charge. He further stated that they can be enlisted or reenlisted in the [rate held at thé time of their dis- | charge. The age limit for those men who wish to enlist in the inactive Naval Reserve is 17-35 inclusive. Those men above the upper age Limit will be eligible if previous Regular Na- | val service or active Naval Reserve Service, deducted from present age, place them in the foregoing age group. Applications for enlistment or reenlistment in the USNR for in- ‘active duty of men in a higher age bracket than that specified above, { who have had active duty in the U. 'S. Navy or U. S.
