Seems like I am seeing more of
these cars with an E. on the license |
And instead of just a little '§
plate.
E, they would have a big sign on
the door reading—Politician’s car,
paid for by the Taxpayers.
And you know, the more you see |
the more |
of these exempt outfits,
it kinda soaks in what kind of a
sucker you are for not getting one
for your ownself.
Having a nice 1940 chaise with
free gas, and a free license plate—
and the car free in the first place—
and all you have to do is drive it,
stranger, those boys, they got some-
thing.
I am not mucl. for getting ex-
cited about just another politician,
but their exempt, free cars, they
kinda get me. They half-way get
me agitated. Kinda like on the Fox
Farm where the young lady visitors
just out of college, she asked the
proprietor about how many times
you could skin a fox. And the boss
gulped and he says, sister, these
fores, he says, after you skin ’em
about a coupla times, you know,
they commence to get just a trifle
voxed and agitated.

The new fire engine of the Bain-

turn around almost immediattely
and race back. It was only a chim-
ney fire at Reuben Ebersole’s farm.
The engine was put to its first
use back in October 31, Hallowe'en
night, when Alvin Martin's hay-
stack caught fire.
