AT SLOAN'S
Mr. G. Walter Sloan, owner and
manager of Sloan’s Pharmacy, in
the Theatre Building is offering for-
ty exceptionally fine prizes and a
bicycle to the boys and girls in
our community through a whole-
some and easy contest.
Any boy or girl between 6 and
16 can enter the contest which
will run for twelve weeks.
At the end of each 3-week per-
iod there will be a vote counting
day. The following day ten worth-
while prizes will be awarded to
the ten leading contestants. Just
think! Four vote counting days
with forty prizes awarded and the
grand prize of a De Luxe 1939
Model Motobike at the end of the
contest to the high over all vote
holders.
Votes are acquired through pur-
chases made at the Pharmacy. Vote
coupons are given with every pur-
chase during the contest.
There are dolls, skates, knives,
sets, roller skates and many
prizes on display at Sloan’s.

Mr. and Mrs. Stauffer were forced
to postpone their wedding originally
planned for June 10th, for nearly a
month when both became ill with
scarlet fever and were quarantined
