Eichler, of Florin, was arrested by Chief of Police Elmer Zerphy, of town on a charge of failing to stop after an accident on West Main street, at 4:30 a.m. Sunday. According to Chief Zerphy, a car operated by Eichler collided with a milk truck operated by John J. Herr, of town, and failed to stop. Clarence Paules, of Mt. Joy R. D. 1, who was riding with him, suffered a leg injury and was treated at the office of Dr. D. C. Stoner, Chief Zerphey said Herr obtained the license number of the Eichler auto as it sped away, Eichler posted bail for a hearing before Justice of the Peace Ar- thur R. Many Realty Sales During Past Week Nauman Farm Sold A 32-acre farm located two miles north of Manheim sold for $133 an acre and was purchased by William Saylor, of that vicinity. The place was sold for the widow and heirs of Milton Nauman, deceased. E. V. Spahr was auctioneer. Besides 2-story house and barn equipped with tobacco cellar and stripping room, the place con- tains some fruit trees, meadow and woodland. Farm Brings $16,506 A 62-acre farm along the road leading from East Petersburg to the Harrisburg pike was sold Thursday by John R. Cassel, trus- tee of the estate of the late Harry R. Cassel, at a price of $263 an acre. John J. Landis, of near East Petersburg, the purchaser, paid approximately $16,506 for the property, which contains a two- story dwelling house, a frame barn, a tobacco shed and other build- ings. Ober, president of Elizabethtown College and An- thony Alonzo, sixteen, of Youngs- town, Ohio, a member of the Pre- mier Octet which presented a concert in Lancaster Thursday night, suffered minor injuries and shock when a car operated by Dr. Ober rolled over several times fol- lowing a collision on the road be- tween Mastersonville and Elston- ville at 5:30 p. m. Saturday. State Motor Policeman C. J. Beaver, of the sub-station, said he learned that Dr. Ober and the youth were enroute to Reading where the latter was scheduled to appear. Dr. Ober’s auto coll- ided with an auto operated by James E. Rohrer, of Manheim R. D. 3, the officer said. Dr. Ober, Private Beaver said, immediately left for Reading after leaving his identification cards on the scene. Police said his auto was wrecked but the Rohrer car was only slightly damaged.
