Face SIX Play Ground| IRONVILLE News The Mount Joy Boro Playground ended its second two-week period on Friday, July 16. During this period the Playground Point system was enlarged so as to include the Junior boys and girls as well as the Senior boys. The tournaments sched- uled for last Thursday had to be called off on account of rain, The girls Tennis der way as scheduled at 10:30 this Thursday with the second round at 1:00 on Friday. The semi finals will be played later Friday afternoon and | the Finals will be played off Mon- | day evening, July 26 at 6:45. The Boys Quoit tournament will be delayed somewhat because some | of the participants have gone to Boy Scout camp. However as many matches as possible will be played Thursday and Friday the Cove. The will all be played sometime on Mon- day so that th semi finals and the final matches be played off Monday afternoon M. in the Cove boxes. In addition to these two tourna- ments a Marble Elimination tourna- ment has been arranged for the Junior boys (6-12). The Field Cap-~ tains for this tournament will be James Shatz and Horace Wertz.
