A Ford coupe driven by Richard Hawthorne, aged 18, of town, ran off the road and overturned when he fell asleep. He was badly cut about the head. George Wall, age 19, injured his right shoulder and head. Roy Mateer, 19, was not injured. They were riding with Hawthorne. The injured were taken to the office of Dr. Kendig here. Hawtherne was removed to the St. Joseph Hospital at Lancaster.
