He dwelt the thriftiness of the clan ancestors and felt that it was wrong to allow their graves to be overgrown with weeds. He also said “the association being chart- wed it is legal for anyone to be- queath money to it, and made an appeal to this end. Others who spoke were Rev. Henry K. Kreid- Abraham C. From that time until July 1936, the Union National Mount Joy Bank, with the assistance of the liquidating trustees of the Florin Trust Company, has liquidated the assets transferred to it by The Florin Trust Company and liqui- dated them with such success that the Union National Mount Joy Bank has been repaid all the de- posit liabilities which it assumed in July 1932, and has on hand ap- proximately $80,000 of assets to be returned to liquidating trustees chosen by the stockholders of The Florin Trust Company, the stock- holders will be paid a substantial dividend on account of their stock. This sets a record for the liqui- dation of the assets of a closed bank and reflects great credit upon the Union National Mount Joy Bank and the liquidating trustees of the Florin Trust Company. It also confirms the good judgment of the directors of The Florin Trust Company in transferring the assets of the Florin Trust Company to the Union National Mount Joy Bank in order to protect its depositors and to pay those depositors one hun- dred cents on the dollar, and also pay a substantial dividend to stockholders. John A. Coyle, Esq., represented the Union National Mount Joy Bank in the liquidation, and Ber- nard J. Myers, Esq. represented the trustees of the Florin Trust Company.
