The hostess Mrs. Greider read the First Psalm for the scripture lesson, and the class responded by repeating the 23rd Psalm. Each member responded to the roll call by repeating a Bible verse. The Secretary Mrs. Earle Donley read the minutes, and a very favorable treasurers report was given by Mrs. Luther Gingrich. During the business meeting the “Rainy Day Bags” which contained a cent for every day rained during the summer was turned over to the ireasurer, and che reported a nice sum from the same. Mrs. Earle Stauffer and Elizabeth Lane mem- bers off the “look out” committee for the Rally Day Service Sunday, reported a number of homes vis- ited. Final plans were made for the sale of chicken corn soup Thursday, September 19th. Games were played and refresh- ments served to the following members: Mrs. A. P.
