At Landisville
DFEEATED THE SOPHOMORES OF
EAST HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP
WITH 49'2 POINTS—THE SENIORS
FINISHED THIRD
The Junior cldss carried off the hon-
ors in the first annual Intramural track
and field meet held at the East Hemp-
field High School, Friday afternoon.
The Juniors collected a total of 49%
points to take first place and the Soph-
omore, second with 34 points: Seniors
third, with 13% points and the Fresh-
men took fourth place with 10 points.
M. Kauffman was high individual
scorer for the boys with 13 points and
A. Cooper carried off top honors in the
girls events with 8 points.
Coach J. Elias Fritz, former Franklin
and Marshall College track star, was
| well pleased with the showing of the
| students although the times recorded
| were very slow, due to the fact that
the track was very muddy

On Sunday the East End Juniors
played the West End Mixtures, in a
double header, defeating them both
times, by the scores of 3 to 2 and
8 to 4. The games were played on
the East End ball diamond.
