WAR ON CROWS SAYS GAME COMMISSION Now is the best time of the year to wage organized warfare on crows in sections where they have become so plentiful as to become a nuisance, according to officials of the State Game Commission. Reporis from the southeastern part of the State indicate that thousands of flocks of crows have been congregating there. Commis sion officials suggest organized crow hunts and drives on their “yrookeries” as a means of reducing their numbers. ————- 0 Ee Plant Clean Potatoes In securing potatoes for planting next spring it is safest to buy dis- ease-free seed direct from a relia- ble source or to use potatoes only one year remove from such a source: Care of the seed in storage is another safeguard for the ensu- ing crop. tl We Grow Good Layers Breeding for high egg product- ion is an important poultry hus- bandry pract'ce.
