Kline Hoffman, of Elizabethtown,
driver of the truck, told police he was
driving toward Mount Joy, just south
of the boro limits when he felt a
jar and looking back on the road saw
a man lying along the side.
Hoffman told police he was unable
to see the pedestrian because he was
blinded by the sun shining on the
windshield. Hoffman took the man
to th office of Dr. A. F. Snyder, of
Mount Joy, where he was treated and
then removed to Lacaster.
