The ceremony was per- formed by Rev. Herbert Burk, pastor of the Chapel, and the wed- ding marches were played by Miss Seville King, of Phoenixville. Sahm, seventy-seven, died suddenly at his home in East Petersburg, last evening of heart trouble. He was a member of the Menno- nite church of East Petersburg, and a retired farmer for the past twen- ty-two years. Levi F. Stoner Levi F. Stoner, died in the Menno- nite home at Oreville, Manheim township, Friday afternoon after an illness of about a year. He was a member of the Mennonite church. One daughter, Miss Lottie Stoner, of this city; and a sister, Miss Lydia Stoner, of East Petersburg, survive. He was a guest at the Home for the past six years. ne mene et I ee HUDSON WINS CONTRACT ON COMPETITIVE TESTS Hudson : Motor Car Company offi- cials have been notified by the State of California that the strictly stock model Hudson Straight Eight passed every test without a single mark against it, the only car to do this, and as a result, the company has been awarded the contract for 75 au- tomobiles to be used by the Califor- nia State Highway Control. The tests, which were confined to a field cut down to eight by prelimin- ary tests, were more severe than ever before, and the industry has always regarded the standards demanded by the State of Californias the maxi- mum on almost every count.
