WEDNESDAY, = MAR. 19, . 1930 WANT DONEGAL AS BASKET BALL ON HATCHERY SITE (From page 1) State and federal bills were drawn, to improve these sports in the county and State. A letter was read from Congress- man, J. Roland Kinzer, who ex- pressed regret at not being able to attend the meeting, but that he would appreciate any suggestions from the sportsmen, in view of en- acting better federal laws on field and streams. Arrangements were made to hold a joint meeting of this Association, with the Chester County Association, on April 9th. Norman M. Wood, representing the State Game Commission, gave a de- tail addresses on the duties of nim- rods at this particular time of year, illustrating his talk with moving pic- tures. A petition asking Congressman Kinzer to use his influence with the U. 8. Secretary of Commerce, to se- lect the Donegal Springs site for a new Federal Fish Hatchery, which was ordered for Pennsylvania by Congress, was drawn and forwarded to the local representative, at Wash- ington. It may be of interest to know forty years ago the late ex-Senator J. D. Cameron conducted quite a fish hatchery at Donegal Springs. There were a number of breeding ponds near which was a 21, story building used for raising fingerlings. Trout were mostly raised there. When the hatchery was abandoned the ponds were opened and many of the large trout got into the Donegal creek. She did not know that her green organdie seemed like the sheath of a lily bud to her white face with its dark wide eyes. In Robert Hunnewell’s face Anice read a new enthusiasm, a cer- tain proprietory manner, as he spoke to little Dolly Hale. The tea progressed. Dolly lisped on and showed the dimple in her smooth cheek and the utter innocence of her blue eyes. It was in the middle of one of Dolly's dialogues about their convent life that Robert sprang up. “l say, if you'll excuse me a few minutes, I've got to phone a man about an appointment.” He left them. Dolly her and her hands above her head. “Isn't he a scream, my dear? I could howl. With all that old reverence stuff and chivalry toward women.” “I rather like his manner,” Anice said coldly. He and Dolly slipped away and Anice saw that Dolly had resumed her lisp and her appealing innocence. Anice was rather surprised that eve- ning when some one came hurriedly up the walk. She saw with dismay that her caller was Robert Hunnewell, but she rose and held out her hand. “She is pretty, Bob; just as pretty as you said she was!” “I never said she was pretty!” he said belligerently. “But—but I thought,” she faltered. “Don’t think.
