home at Marietta. Death resulted
from infirmities due to her advanc-
ed age.
Mrs. Foultz leaves one daughter,
Miss Cora, at home, a sister, Miss
Sallie Thuma, and a brother, Jacob
Thuma, Sr., West Marietta.
Funeral services were held in the
late home Monday afternoon. Bur-
ial was made in the family plot in
the Marietta cemetery.

Mrs. Elizabeth Grube, 68, widow
of David Grube, died last Thursday
at the home of her sister, Mrs.
Benjamin Hieston, of East Peters-
burg. Death was due to compli- | H
cations.
She is survived by two sisters,
Mrs. Charles Frank, of Ashland, O.
and Mrs. Hieston, of East Peters-
burg.
Private funeral services were
held at the home of her sister on
Sunday afternoon and public serv-
ices at the Brethren church, East
Petersburg, where she was a
member. Interment was made at
the Brethren cemetery.

Mrs. Annie K. Charles
Mrs. Annie K. Charles, 55, wife
of David B. Charles, of East
Hempfield township, died Thursday

afternoon in her home after hav-
ing been in failing health for the
past 3 and one-half months. Four-
teen weeks ago Mrs. Charles sus-
tained a fracture of the right leg
in a fall, and since then steadily
declined. She was a member of
the Mennonite church. Besides her
husband, three children, Mabel,
wife of Aaron M. Shertzer, of Ma-
nor township; Ivan N., of Manor
township, and Edith E., at home,
survive. Also four grandchildren;
her stepmother, Mrs. Barbara Niss-
ley, of Landisville, and four step-
brothers, H. Hoyte Nissley, Detroit
Edward G. Nissley, Long Island;
Samuel B. Nissley, Harrisburg, and
W. Scott Nissley, of Landisville.
Private funeral services were held
from the late home Saturday af-
ternoon with interment at Millers-
ville,

died Thursday morning at his home

Pike, after a brief illness. He was
born December 19, 1883, in East
