REV. A. S. LEHMAN
ADDRESSED MEN’S LEAGUE

The men of Mount Joy and vicin-
ity were given a rare treat on Sun-~
day afternoon last when the Rew.
A. S. Lehman of Hummelstown, Pa.,
delivered an address, ‘“Man’s Place
in the Church”. Rev. Lehman is a
forceful and convincing gospel
speaker, preaching the truth in all
its seriousness. One of the largest
crowds that ever attended a meeting
of the Men’s Christian Federatiom
were there to greet him. Another
feature of this service was the splen-
did, wholehearted gospel singing of
the Men’s Chorus of the Church of
God of Elizabethtown, -who ‘were
called on to sing a number of times.
They were a great help and were
very much appreciated. The Presi-
dent of the Federation promises
many good things for the future
meetings. Next
held in the Methodist church and
will be addressed by Rev. Bond of
Lancaster. An effort is being made
to secure a Male Chorus from Lan-
caster. Watch for later announce-
ments.
