De- ceased was a sister-in-law of Mrs. Sarah Brady on Marietta this place. Deceased is very well known here. She was postmistress in Mount Joy during President Lincoln’s administration. Although she never had children of her own, she adopted and raised eight. Deceased was a lifelong member of the Church of God and active until a few weeks previous to her death.
