MAYTOWN POSTOFFICE
PLACED IN THIRD CLASS
The Maytown postoffice has been
placed in the third class. Miss Ethel
Culp, postmistress, has been notified
that the receipts warrant the office
being made third class. Greater
business and larger sales were the
big factors in the increase. The
Maytown Garment company, which
established its business in Maytown
a few months ago, helped the office.
This new industry has given May-
town quite a boom. The company
is enlarging its factory, and putting
on more hands, in order to accommo-
date the iness. Their product
is sold entirely to the Woolworth
stores all over the United States
and Canada. Miss Culp has been
post mistress of M:w*own for a
number of years, and ®ucceeded her
mother, who is now Mrs. Isaac Car-
penter.
