A Diamond Ring Valued at $250,
Recovered From a Well
11
A diamond ring valued at
than $250 which disappeared
deep well two weeks ago, was re-
covered yesterday after much diffi-
culty by the owner, Samuel B. Weid-
man of Wormleysburg.
While taking an automobile trip
through Lancaster county with a
party of friends two weeks ago, Mr.
Weidman stopped at a pump at Mt.
Hope in Rapho township for a drink
of water and while he was working
the handle the ring slipped from his
finger and disappeared through a
crack in the platform over the well
There was no way of searching for
it at the time and it was left in the
well.
Yesterday Mr. Weidman and a = @
party of friends went to Mt. Hope
